About NYO
The New York Open is an annual tabletop wargaming event that brings people together for a weekend of games, hobby activities, and fun.
NYO began in 2022 as a Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team Grand Tournament, and a custom Kill Team narrative event. In 2023, we expanded to include BattleTech and Necromunda, as well as kicked off our first ever painting competition. In 2024, we grew again, adding a Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament.
For 2025, we are excited to bring the following events:

NYO is primarily about creating a space to enjoy a shared hobby, and as such we are committed to an inclusive, welcoming environment and strive to provide a gaming experience that is fair, fun, and friendly.
