THE TOWN SCHOOL

For 2025, NYO will return to The Town School on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. This location allows us flexible space for multiple game systems, hobby seminars, and on-site vendors. The venue is located close to subway and bus lines, and with multiple lodging options available in Manhattan and the greater NYC area.

Getting there

The Town School is located on a tree-lined cul-de-sac across the street from John Jay Park at 540 East 76th Street, overlooking the East River.

By car:

  • The closest cross street is York Avenue, and Town is located at the very East end of the block. Just head towards the East River! 

  • On-street parking in the area is limited, but there are several parking garages in the neighborhood.

By public transportation:

  • The closest subway lines are the Q train to 72nd Street and 2nd Avenue or the 6 train to 77th Street and Lexington Avenue. If traveling by subway, be sure to also factor in about 10-15 minutes for the walk from the subway stop to Town.

  • The M79 crosstown bus stops at 79th Street and York Avenue, just a short walk from Town.

 

Please note that because we are hosted within a school, alcohol and smoking (including vapes) are not allowed on-premises. Additionally, food and drink are limited to the cafeteria.
